Our second callout of Sunday 18th Feb was for yet another broken leg. This time it belonged to a sixty-year-old-female who had fallen in Thorpe Pasture.
The lady was treated on scene by the team and an EMAS ambulance crew. She was given pain relief by the team, and her leg splinted by the EMAS crew. She was carried by team stretcher to the road-head where she was transferred to the care of EMAS for onward transfer to the Royal Derby Hospital.
