With major incidents declared across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire the several Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation - PDMRO teams' water sections were placed on standby yesterday (Sat 21 Oct).
Our water section along with Buxton Mountain Rescue Team Edale Mountain Rescue Team and Kinder Mountain Rescue Team co-located at the Duffield Fire Station near our base.
At around 2:45pm Derby team were relocated to Long Eaton pending a tasking from Derbyshire Constabulary. We were later sent out on welfare checks for residents.
The teams were all stood down at around 10pm.
