Text Donation Facility Launched

A new facility has been launched where members of the public can make a donation to the team by text message.

The service, provided by Vodafone's JustTextGiving, enables amounts up to £10 to be donated, simply by sending a text message.  Every penny of the donation is paid to the team and if the donor is a UK tax payer, the team can claim an additional amount equal to 25% of the donation if the donor follows the resultant text message about Gift Aid.

To make a donation send the text message DMRT22 £5  to 70070. To send a different out amount (e.g. £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10), just change the text message, e.g. DMRT22 £1

The donation is either added to the phone bill (if you're on a monthly contract) or taken from your phone credit (if on Pay-As-You-Go).
