The service will be held at Derby Cathedral at 14:00 hrs on Friday 18th December. (please be seated by 13:40)
Black trousers/skirt, black shoes, your 'Mountain Equipment’ MR Jacket, wear what you feel is appropriate underneath your MR jacket.
Please note the family have requested people not to wear black armbands.
There will be a pre-assigned guard of honour formed of representatives from various organisations at the front of the Cathedral.
The cortege will be in two stages: The first with the family, driving through Hilton and passing the New HQ Land to Markeaton Park. The second will be from Markeaton Park to Derby Cathedral and will include representatives from the other teams in the Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation.

Donations in memory of Steve will be for Derby Mountain Rescue Team and may be given by retiring collection at the service or sent to Gillotts Funeral Directors 1a Abbott Street, Heanor, DE75 7QD. If you are a tax payer please download and fill in our Gift Aid form to be submitted with your donation. This will allow us to reclaim tax on your donation.
