Charity Kilimanjaro Climb

Andy is joint President of the Rotary Club of Church Wilne. Andrea is the joint President of the Inner Wheel Club of Church Wilne. Both raising funds for Local and International good causes. The plan for Kili' first came about to celebrate Andy's 40th Birthday, Andrea was "volunteered" to join the adventure following a number of charity walks in the UK. Andy and Andrea are both very passionate about the causes they are raising money.

All donations will be split between the three charities: Derby Mountain Rescue, Breast Cancer Care and NSPCC.

As this is a challenge for themselves the pair have paid for the experience themselves.

They will be climbing the 19,340ft Kilimanjaro Mountain by the Shira Route. Stopping at Shira 1 Camp (11,550ft), Shira 2 camp (12,600ft), Moir Camp (13,800ft), Pofu Camp (13,200ft) Rongai Caves Camp (12,960ft), Outward Bound Camp (15,585ft) allowing time to acclimatise before summiting at Uhuru Peak (19,340ft).
