A 40 year old woman and her family were out near the stepping stones in Dovedale when they got caught out by the fading light. Deciding not to risk the stepping stones under the conditions, they followed the more difficult path back to the car park by the scree slopes of Thorpe Cloud. The woman then suffered a severe asthma attack and the team were called out. 17 members of the team responded and the woman was treated on scene by DMRT personnel before being evacuated across the river to a waiting ambulance using the team's Land Rover.
