Matlock Bath

The team were called to woods overlooking Masson Mills in Matlock Bath, where a 79yo woman had slipped on a muddy path, causing an ankle injury.

Due to the nature of the terrain and the steepness of the path, the team were called to provide treatment on scene and to evacuate the woman by stretcher down the steep narrow path to the road, where a waiting EMAS ambulance took her to hospital for further treatment.
