Baslow Edge

A section of the team were taking part in crag training at Baslow Edge, near Froggat, when they were alerted to an injured climber.

The 31yo casualty had been bouldering in the near vicinity when he fell from the rock he was climbing, causing a painful ankle injury. Team personnel were quickly on scene and he was treated by team medics before being evacuated by stretcher to the road, where he could be handed over to an ambulance for onward transport to hospital.

  • I would like to say a huge thank you to the team that came to my aid on the 12th May on Baslow Edge. You were all fantastic, constantly re-assuring and making me feel comfortable. A special thank you to the gentleman on the left. You are a great asset to the team. Once again a huge thank you to you all. Keep up the good work.

    Kindest of regards

    Mark
