The team were called out just before 2pm today. While visiting Thor's Cave and the Manifold way with a group, a 32-year-old male slipped and fell injuring his right leg. The team and a West Midlands Ambulance Service Crew attended the scene, treated the man for his injuries and carried him by mountain rescue stretcher back up to the road in Wetton. He was discharged back to the care of his group who took him to the Royal Derby Hospital for further treatment.
