CALLOUT: The team were called out to Thorpe Cloud just before 3pm on Monday 28th May as a member of the public had reported a male suffering chest pains. A 51 year old male had suffered a heart attack and was given CPR on the scene by members of the public until the emergency services arrived. The team attended the scene along with East Midlands Ambulance Service, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Helimed09, and Derbyshire Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance Base Helimed54. The male was stabilised on scene, stretchered off Thorpe Cloud and carried to the Air Ambulance. He was flown to the Royal Derby Hospital by DLRAA Helimed54 for further treatment. We would like to send him and his family our best wishes, and thank the members of the public for their assistance.
