The team were called out just after 3pm this afternoon to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service. A sixty-nine year old male had fallen at Gypsy Bank injuring his head, a member of his party managed to get phone signal to call for help. He was treated on scene by EMAS Paramedics as he had sustained quite a nasty cut to his forehead. Fortunately he was able to be walked off the hill by the team back to the Land Ambulance. He was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital for further treatment.
