One of the competitors of the Four Inns race/walk fell on Black Hill End on the descent from Westend Moss injuring their leg yesterday. His team raised the alarm and a section from DerbyMRT were dispatched to the scene where it was deemed that the 41 year old male had broken his leg and an air ambulance was requested. The man was transferred to the care of the North West Air Ambulance Charity helicopter #GNWAE and flown to the Royal Oldham Hospital for further treatment. Well done to the man's running team who raised the alarm and stayed with him until the helicopter and DerbyMRT left, even though the three-hour delay eventually meant they couldn't finish the race in time. #SoMuchMoreThanMountains #MountainRescueUK #MREW#PDRMO #Volunteers #FourInns
