The team were called just before 1pm on the 31st December to Ilam rock, Dovedale where a Fifty-Four year old lady fell sustaining a lower leg injury. A West Midlands Ambulance crew, West Midlands Ambulance Paramedics and wetton & Alstonfield Community First Responders were also on scene.

The lady was made comfortable and carried out on our team stretcher to the WMAS Land Ambulance who transported her to hospital for further treatment.

Whilst on scene, the team were contacted by a man who had been walking with a large group of around thirty people when he became seperated from his two young sons. A small party went out to look for the boys whilst the rest of the team continued with our original callout. Fortunately, the two boys were located near Milldale and re-united with their father and the rest of the party.

As the team were leaving they were asked to help a sheep that had become stuck in a fence, although it was well and truly stuck they were able to free it unharmed.
