  • I am the 75 year old Canadian rescued on Thorpe Cloud by a fantastic group of men and women volunteers. They did an excellent job and made me feel that I was truly in safe hands. One of the group made sure that our car was rescued from the Dovedale parking lot and returned to our B&B in Thorpe. David Whitmore went beyond the call of duty by collecting my wife from Derby Hospital and taking her back to the B&B in Thorpe. We will be making a donation to this amazing group in the near future.
