THREE CALLOUTS: The team have had a busy day today.

Our first callout was just after 1am this morning after a 51-year-old lady who was out walking her dog, had fallen, injuring her leg and ended up disorientated and lost. An advance party had been sent to set up and arrange a search plan, however they were stood down en-route as the lady was located by an NPAS (National Police Air Service) helicopter, and was walked out by the Police.

The second call was to Dovedale to a 59-year-old lady who had fallen and sustained a suspected lower leg fracture. The team evacuated the lady to a West Midlands Ambulance Service Land Ambulance, who took her to Hospital for further treatment.

At the same time a small section were sent to our third callout to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service after a casualty was reported to have suspected spine and head injuries. The casualty was taken by the team to the Royal Derby Hospital.

All vehicles and kit are now back at the team garage, ready for our next call.
