The team were called at 01:45 on Saturday 7th May along with the EMAS HART(East Midlands Ambulance Service: Hazardous Area Response Team) to a Twenty-Two year old female who had injured her leg whilst visiting the 'Nine Ladies' stone circle at Stanton Moor. The casualty was treated for a suspected broken bone in her foot by the EMAS Paramedics and a team Paramedic before being carried off the moor on our specialist stretcher to the Team Land Rover which is equipped as an ambulance. She was later transferred to a land ambulance crew who took the casualty to Chesterfield Royal Hospital for further treatment.
The team returned home and the vehicle and equipment returned to our base where it was restocked and made ready for the next callout. The vehicle crew left the base at around 5:30am.
